Metro Cooks is a charming kitchen supply and cookware store located in the Metro Mall off Benson Blvd across from the Midtown Mall. Metro cooks have a robust selection of cookware. They have pretty much any pot or pan you can imagine. They have a huge selection of wooden or silicone mixers and serving spoons for pans with sensitive coatings that can be scratched by metal utensils. My family and I are big fans of wooden mixing, stirring, and serving spoons and we enjoy the selection available at Metro Cooks. The location is very convenient and is close to where I see patients.

When you first walk in you will notice that the entrance is in the center of the building layout, with wings extending to either side. Browsing through the available goods is natural, with lots of fun endcaps and eye-catching gadgets. On my first visit there I was surprised about the sheer volume of cookware they have available. I was on the hunt for a few specific items at the time, cutting boards, a soup ladle (wood or silicone), and a tortilla press. The store employees were very helpful and walked me over to the corresponding sections with the items I needed. The cutting board selection was a bit intimidating as there were a huge number of cutting boards available, and my wife is fairly particular with her cutting boards. I ended up getting everything I needed without any trouble.

What Metro Cooks Has to Offer

There are also quite a few cooking and cookware art pieces all around the store, many of which have attractive designs and many more with fun cooking puns to spice up the light-hearted cooking aficionado. A huge selection of mugs, aprons, glassware, and serving dishes are available with great designs and boast utility as well. I didn't see a singing bass while I was there, but that would have made for fun, albeit silly and a bit out of place, in addition to what was available. There is also an extensive selection of kitchen gadgets and gizmos available at Metro Cooks as well. From blenders and mixers to slow cookers, you will find an ample selection of kitchen accessories to help with the preparation of a fantastic meal.

The Appeal of Metro Cooks

Adding to the appeal of a Metro Cooks stop is the Metro Mall itself, which has other businesses that make the stop more fun. A great bread and sandwich store, an ice cream store with handcrafted, small-batch offerings, and a tea room that offers a traditional tea time add to the appeal of stopping in and picking up some treats at the same time. My daughter adores tea time, and as such, she is always more than happy to wander through Metro Cooks with us to finish up with some tea when we are all done.
